^Agree, I've done the same for random items, not so much bags, but it has always worked out well.

^Ugh, that stinks! I guess I HAVE been lucky lol.
I did have one buyer disappear though, she emailed me like a madwoman all week and when I was gone last weekend, asking how to work ebay and questions like, "If there is a buy it now, does that mean there is no bidding?" Anyway she said she wouldn't be able to pay until Friday and I said that was ok, she could just press Buy it Now and at least secure the item until she could pay...that was Tuesday and I haven't heard from her since. Who knows if she'll buy the item or not, at least I didn't change the auction for her. |

are her ebay purchases close to the dollar amounts of your listing? and are they pretty consistant? how old is the negative? what was it for? is the value of your item much more than anything she has purchased in the past? (if so i would say no, let her get the funds together) how many watchers do you have on your listing? if you have several watchers then let her wait, if you don't have any watchers, or a few watchers you could accept her proposal on your terms. if she doesn't end up paying the only thing that your out is the listing fees. i would get a solid date from her of when she will pay and tell her your terms., that you would file a "non paying bidder" if she doesn't pay by the specified date and relist the item. that is a strike i would not want against me. |
