Brought eBay bag, turned out to be fake, where i can get official proves???? HELPP!!!

Dear sisters on the purse forum:

I am here to seek for help!!
I'm looking for a place that helps me to authenticate Chanel bags, they have to provide me some official paper!!
Pay-pal need those in order to give me thousand dollar money back!!!!

I recently brought an Chanel Jumbo Metallic Bag on eBay, the seller said it was 100% authentic, but when i see the bag, it does not look authentic to me AT ALL!!!
When i filed claim in Pay-pal, they almost refused to give me back the money because there's no official paper or prove the bag is not authentic.

Please suggest me a good place to go where i can let then check my bag also provide me some official documents for Pay-pal! (If i don't have it, i will lost tons of money!!!)
I live in Bay Area, which is a city in California in between San francisco and San Jose. Please helpppp

i need it by next week...

(Why is it on the top instead of on the bottom?)

Plus the smell of the bag is very strong leather-ish...
Please help me authenticate!!

I don't know much about Chanel, but I would:

1) take it to the boutique and ask them to authenticate (write a letter you can fax to Paypal) Do not tell them you got it from *bay of course!

You can say you got it as a gift.

OR

2)Contact Caroldiva and ask them to authenticate. I've heard they are pretty quick to respond

Try www.mypoupette.com ... as far as I know they are accepted by Paypal

EDIT: I would have recommended Caroldiva as well (she's super fast and a total sweetheart), but I think she only works with LVs and no
other brands

You can go to www.caroldiva.com for official written authentication. Paypal will accept letters from them and they are reputable third party authenticator. Good Luck!

have u posted the eBay link and photos at the chanel forum as well so they could at least give you an opinion on the authenticity of the bag?

i agree with using caroldiva...

and the bag looks terrible....sorryyy

oh my. i read before in the authenticate thread that the serial number 10218184 is very often faked for Chanels!

Is there any way you could return it and get a refund? Was there a refund policy when you purchased it?

I have also used Carol Diva with great results. You can get a written letter as soon as today if you want to pay the premium rush price. My problem was a Marc Jacobs wallet so she does do other designers. It is worth the e-mail to her to ask IMO.
