Perhaps the reason you never heard back from them is they look at what you say you paid for the item and how much it retails and if you paid less than 60% of retail price then you rarely hear back from them. And another thing.....too many people keep this office swamped with false claims for vindictive reasons whereas they have little time on hand to pursuit the real cases. Another reason perhaps; in most interstate sales the item has to cost more than 500.00 in most cases and there has to have been numerous complaints about this seller prior to yours. However if you still feel you need to contact someone you can contact their state attorney general office, but then again they operate by a lot of the same procedures as this office does. Sad, but true... all the vindictive filings especially among online sellers on sites such as Ebay and other online seller's sites has made them not pay much attention to these claims anymore.

To ensure authenticity, the best thing is to purchase from the stores. there are so many scams out there! Purseforum is great, however, it is difficult to authenticate from just a picture and some seller use fake pictures od real bags/shoes and send fakes. Hope this helps

I used IC3 to report a seller of fake Uggs, I had paid thru PayPal but not thru ebay, they were trading as a US company but the goods came from China. I reported the site I used to both IC3 and to Ugg, next thing I know the site is closed down - brilliant result. But... the company then emails me later saying they had ceased traing under the name they were using and set up a new company online and gave me the web addy, I promptly reported that to Ugg and IC3 but to my knwoedge they're still trading right now! Bummer, the stuff wasn't that cheap either but it was cheaply made!

That's very true, I bought a Prada bag off ebay, I checked Prada's own site and the bag was spot on.. when I received the bag it was completely different, and HORRIBLE! I emailed the seller and she gave me a refund as soon as I sent it back but it just proves you can't trust the photos the sellers upload.

Please start a new thread here in the ebay forum. Tell us what happened. Post the auction link and seller ID.
If you paid via PP w/ a credit card, contact your credit card co ASAP, advise them that you have been sold counterfeit goods, and that you wish to file a chargeback.
WHY did PP find in favor of the seller...??

Seriously I do not know why the end result is like that. Paypal did not even ask for any other info. They just pass the verdict that favor the seller. Btw, I have already paid the credit card bill. Can I still do a charge back ?

This is the link to my purchase.

someone from purseforum has notify ebay that this bag is fake. The transaction was perhaps done before the notification.
But still I can't understand how paypal concluded this way.

Charge backs as far as I know can be requested upon you the buyer having documentary proof of all communications i.e. paypal money requests of payments, transaction records, invoices, print-outs of site details where the transaction was transacted etc...Most major organisations behind cc cards are huge so should be comforting to know there is a resource for recourse.
