it would seem a seller on evilbay has stolen pix from my Bonanzle Booth & posted them on their own listing. it's just a pity they don't know the correct name of the bag they're selling
according to their listing they're a member of TPF as well ![]() myself & several others have reported them & they have now ended their listing. how these people get 100% feedback i will never know. |

for the alert. In the future, the quickest way to report fakes is to email support@bonanzle.com with the booth name and a list of the fakes. They always respond with a nice thank you email within 30 mins. and all the booths that I have reported are gone after I get their email response. They really do want to keep Bonz real!

A question - I have an offer on a bag from a Bonz buyer in Spain who wants to pay me with Western Union or a bank wire transfer. I have been paid with Western Union twice by US buyers but never with a bank wire. Has anyone else sold internationally using these methods of payments? Are there risks involved? Are these the preferred payment methods of scammers?

I have accepted payment by both Western Union and bank wire. Both types have gone fine.
With Western Union, you pick up cash from a nearby office by showing your drivers license. Some of the larger supermarkets have WU service at their store's customer service desk inside. If the buyer tells you to pick up Western Union funds at any location except an official WU office or desk, it is a scam. If you get paid by wire, never give your own account information. (That would give the buyer direct access to your account. She could drain it.) Instead, ask your bank for instructions on how the buyer can wire money into the bank's account. With both WU and banks, there are fees involved. WU fees are at the sender's end. To make certain the buyer pays all fees involved with wires, ask your bank about the fees at BOTH ends so you aren't stung with a $35-$50 fee just to get your payment. Tack fees charged by your bank onto your seller "handling" charge. Make it clear to the buyer in writing that she is responsible for all customs fees. Don't send via FedEx or UPS: custom charges could come back to you. Send via postal mail and add insurance and proof of receipt. |

Wow, ProfNot, that's some really good advice, thanks for posting!:) I think if someone is offering to pay by Western Union, that's actually the safest, easiest payment method for a seller to accept. That's because you get your money free and clear, no strings attached, the buyer pays the WU fee, and you get it BEFORE you ship the item. It's when a seller insists that a buyer pay by WU that the buyer should be skeptical, because they have no recourse if the item is never shipped or SNAD. But as a seller, I would jump at this offer, personally.

![]() If you own a cat or dog, check out the Animalicious category. There is a great thread going on now about dog food. 2 vets are contributing. Best info and resources on dog food I have ever read. Info and resources would work great for learning about super healthy cat food, too. I just copied around a dozen of the posts from that thread and emailed them to friends. click this to go directly to thread: Best dog food?? |

Remember that Bonanzle needs the word to be spread to continue its growth without upping fees to cover some overpriced PR firm. Bonanzle members are doing an awful lot to do this - we need buyers as well as sellers. I've probably crossed a few lines while doing my own PR but it's a free world!
From the time this thread was started to now - there were under 1000 members and now there are 15000 plus! We can all be a part of a success story and potentially down the enemy, lol, if we use the new site to buy and list and SPREAD THE WORD! For once, there are good guys out there! PS - I WAS BROWSING BONANZLE WHEN I STARTED AND FOUND A PERSON SELLING CHANEL BAGS FOR VERY VERY CHEAP. HE WAS CALLING THEM NWT, WITH PAPERWORK, ETC - BUT NEVER USED THE WORD AUTHENTIC. I EMAILED BONANZLE AND THEY TOOK THEM RIGHT DOWN! How do you like that! |
