I am going to give bonanzle a try too...I got an official "Your account is closed" email from ebay last week, it has taken them forever to close my ebay account per my request. I am truly free from *bay!!!

So...I'm going to be the voice of reason and say that if we are not allowed to post our Ebay IDs or our auctions, we need to stay away from doing so (even circuitously) with all other auction and selling venues as well . Therefore, I don't think we should be discussing each other's products for sale, etc...no buying/selling or the illusion thereof on TPF, right ?

I think it's OK to discuss moving our business to other auction sites without promoting our items. Many people here are bound to recognize each other's listings just like they do on e`bay. Again, nothing wrong with that either. As long as people aren't promoting their auctions, I see no violation of tpf rules. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I have an auction template that I had a web designer make me and it's an HTML template- just plug and play ;-)! You can actually buy templates on Ebay too I think for as little as $5.00 and they really spice up your listings. With regards to photos- I use Photobucket to add the photo tags right into the template so no extra fees for photos

I was just wondering where we stand with Paypal protection when buying/selling on this site...as it's not an ebay purchase are buyer's just covered for non receipt of goods? and not SNAD?
