Report them thru the link, or contact the owners and tell them you are concerned about it. Bonanzle doesn't have toooo many fakes yet, and we have to keep it like that!

Sadly, there are about 3 pages worth of Chanel fakes that I saw last evening.

I asked the admin about this, and he did say that when they get more than a few reports, they notify the member to remove the items, and then take action from there. SO if you see those items, use the report a violation link, otherwise nothing will happen. One report doesn't do anything, they need a multitude.

Thanks, TXCG! I'll go do that now

ETA: Done! It seems that the majority of the fake items were from one seller. Ugh.

I contacted them as a new member and asked about fakes and reporting here is the response I got.

Hi xxxxx,

Thank you for your email. We have received a fantastic response from TPF. We welcome you all with open arms :)

We do have a list of prohibited items for sale at Bonanzle. http://www.bonanzle.com/site_help/ge...e+probhited%3F

One prohibited item is counterfeit, replica, or knock-off brand name goods. We have received a couple of flags from concerned sellers of authentic goods. We will act on those recent notifications appropriately. We rely on our community to help identify persons who may be selling prohibited items. When you are in a users booth, on the right hand side of the page under the "Who's Here" box you will see a link titled "Report Violation." That is where you let us know. Once we have received a report we will investigate and take the appropriate action.

Thank you so much for your email. We are glad to have another TPF member at Bonanzle!

Regards,
Mark Dorsey

Unfortunately i think there is no better place then ebay, at least when it comes to traffic.I am still researching this though.Hope to find some alternatives as well and do some few test listings!

You're right about the traffic- Ebay is king when it comes to that. I still use BOTH Bonanzle and Ebay. Bonanzle is picking up- I have seen a lot more members signing up, and at a faster rate than before. It doesn't hurt to set up a booth on Bonanzle and have your items sit there while doing Ebay auctions.

I signed up and have moved or let's say copied my auctions from *bay to show there as well... I just kept my same Ebay name and had my FB copied there as well - so hopefully it will be recognizable We shall see... As soon as my current auctions end I will try it there and see what shakes out.

I make a list of the names. You can do one item of each seller, and add in the comments that they have more fakes listed. They do need to making the reporting unlimited, because there are a lot of items from the fake sellers. I think they are also coming from ebay.....

Nothing. But I'm not "winning" anything either.

It has been close to a month since I have listed my pop art prints on Bonanzle, and not even an inquiry. But I sell quite a bit of them on ebay. Go figure!

I'm sure it'll take time. ebay didn't start out fast from the gate either, it took a few years at least. And then boom!

I didn't notice that.

I did report the guy who had all the fake Chanel stuff. I just said everything that seller had was fake. I just did a random search of "chanel" this morning and all of his items are gone! WTG bonazle!
