Default Beware Customs Email Scam!

Just wanted to let everyone know just in case you recieve one too, I got an email this morning It was titled Customs Parcel Information here is what the email said:

Good day,
We have received a parcel for you, sent from France on July 9. Please fill out the customs declaration attached to this message and send it to us by mail or fax. The address and the fax number are at the bottom of the declaration form.
Kind regards,
Cody Engle
Your Customs Service

There was a PDF file attached to it titled Customs Bill and I opened it to see what sort of info they are requesting, it asks for pretty much everything needed to steal your identity, name, address, ssn, birthdate, drivers license and either a credit card number or a bank account in order to pay the customs fees. I knew it was not real right away because I have not bought or sold anything to anyone in france ever. But if by some chance I had bought something internationally I might have fallen for it. I know a lot of us do buy internationally so just be aware.

Who is "customs service"? Thanks for the heads up!

You'd think that they would have picked something more "real" sounding like so-and-so Customs Broker.
