Did you send it back to her via insured delivery that she would have to sign for it?

hmm thats a tough one.

Just want to ask a few more questions if you don't mind :)

Did you buy the replica thinking it was the genuine article? There is a difference between a fake and a replica.

So you got the item and sent it back to her so it had to be signed for, did you insure it up to its full value of the $700 that you paid out? It might be a scam for her to get you to send it back to the wrong address that she can then collect from (a friend or somthing) and so she has the bag and the money.

You can dispute the original charge through your CC, but not the refund that has been processed from paypal.

Have you told paypal that she provided you with the incorrect return address, im sure they would have somthing to say about that.

Sorry there are so many questions! but we need a really clear picture before we can offer any advice. I know this must be hellish for you

yes it was listed as authentic but I dont think it is thats why i decided to return it and the seller agreed.

the street address was actually right but wrong zipcode. she actually got 2 addresses and it git mixed up i guess when we exchanged emails. i know for sure that the item got lost bec. of the tracking status on their website.

its priority signed for but without insurance as i never ever thought in that this thing could happen to me. and i really regret for not doing that.

i did tell paypal that she gave me a wrong zipcode and i was told by paypal said that i should send it to the address they gave me.... but then i already sent the item before I received that instruction from paypal.

if i will dispute the amount in my credit card? what do i tell them? is that ok to do? shall i tell them that I sent the item back but it got lost?

Thanks for your time in helping me out with this case.

If it got lost, why didn't it get sent back to you? I'm assuming you put your return address on there, so why would it be lost somewhere? God, the PO sux.

Yes, definitely speak with your CC company directly—screw PP, they already screwed you over in this situation. Ask for a chargeback from your CC company because I'm sorry, this is ridiculous. You should not have to eat $700 because of some scammer.

Is this person in the same country as you? If so, I would go to the local authorities, as well. This person should be stopped. Please post their eBay ID so we can all block her.

yes that is my concern.. i told paypal to give me more days bec. post office will surely return it back to me esp. there is a return address there but they said they cant anymore. they told me i can appeal in 10days thou from the time they made the decision. this is the 4th day already since they made the decision.

same country..its been a month now!!!

what shall i tell my credit card company? sorry dont know what to say bec. its my first time that i will do this. asking a chargeback from my cc company. shall i tell them the whole story? i am just afraid that it is my mistake bec. first i sent it to the wrong zipcode and they might ask me why i didnt insure it?

thanks for your time girls!

Tell them she sold you a fake bag and you returned it to her and now you want your money back.

i bet she got it back. if the street and city/state are right, if you put the wrong zip code, the post office would correct it. she has the bag and the money. i am more than convinced. call your credit card company and tell them this lady is trying to defraud you.

you really shouldn't open disputes unless the seller is being unfair... did you try to contact her first about doing a simple return??? Sometimes it's more useful to first be nice and simply ask to return the bag because you know it is not authentic, if they decline then let them know you will be opening a dispute and contacting eBay....this will usually scare a seller into taking it back so that their accounts dont become limited in any way....if that doesn't work then you did the right thing but I cant help but wonder... why wouldn't you get insured/trackable mail to cover your ass????

Mention to your CC company that you bought a bag and they sent you a fake.

Though to be honest that package arriving safely was worth $700 to you - insurance should be paramount.

And the post office doesn't show that anyone signed for it? If it was delivered to the seller could she get around not signing for it?

How long has it been since u sent it?
I'm from Canada and I ship a bag to NY city and paid for expedited USA service that normally takes 6 business days and it took 17 days to be exact to reach to the buyer I almost thought it was lost too.

So maybe it's just going through some mail delays and it's not lost at all....
