Someone on another thread was told by eBay Live Chat that you were allowed two designer handbag listings within a 30-day period. God, I hope you're right. Three listings is pitiful, but it beats two!

Could you inform me more about these seller limits??? I have no idea where to find info on this. Is there somewhere on eBay to find this info? I've tried but no luck. I keep hearing new things like newer sellers cant list more than one luxury item (I sell LV) in 7 days....could you let me know if there is anything else? I'm so scared to list anything on ebay right now with the whole LV lawsuit issues going on so I want to make sure when I do that I'm not doing anything that could trigger one of their limits or whatever.

You can thank eBay for that! All of this absurdity has done things to our brains. I, for one, am very distracted, always thinking "I hate eBay" in the back of my mind.

I received the 30 day restriction when I tried to lower the price on a pair of Chanel sandals. The listing stayed put, it was not pulled. I just couldn't revise it. Revising somehow triggers the dreaded restriction email on designer items. I wrote back to eBay and they lifted my 30 day restriction in about a week.

So, basically, this listing will stay put, but if the shoes don't sell and I want to lower the price, I have to wait 30 days? This is so stupid! Don't the powers that be at feeBay realize that without sellers they have no buyers. Without high-priced luxury brands, they get less money. I give up. It angers me no end. Does anyone remember how amazing eBay was waaaay back in the good ol' days? I joined in 1998, but closed my account in 2001 after spending way too much and opened a new account in 2002. It used to be easy and hassle free.

I can see it, while I may not be able to get it via eBay search

It is, indeed, ridulous!

Why they count a revision as a separate listing, I can't imagine?

eBay has, for at least the last two years, counted revisions as another listing anytime you have restricted listings. They have somehow decided that counterfeit sellers do lots of revisions. Am I missing something here? Or is eBay/the powers that be not playing with a full deck? Hmmm.......

Item ended an hour or so ago with no bids (but 25 watchers - why do they bother?) and I tried to relist it, but got the crappy 30 day message. This is just too stupid for words. I e-mailed their customer (dis)Service department, but I know I won't hear back. Remind me again why I bother with feeBay?
