She was a new member and I guess disappeared after this thread. Maybe she'll be back with an update.

Hi Everyone,
Sorry I was so busy with company this weekend. The seller did send a refund but it is pending. I am going to call paypal again today to check the pending status but it appears she must of spent or withdrew the money I had sent her because from what I have read because a pending status usually means the person didn't have the funds in their account to send. Makes no sense if she got paid by two buyers for one purse wouldn't you be planning to send one payment back. The only other reason I could think it is pending is because of the dispute, I will call to check. Once I have my money back I will let everyone the ebay information. The reason I felt safe was she has 1000's of post on here. Bad ebay luck recently when I have never had problems, I also had two non-payers. What is going on???

Hope you had an enjoyable weekend! Glad she is refunding. My understanding with pp is when a refund is pending it means the funds are not available in her pp account and is in the process of being transferred from her bank to pp account. Keep us posted.

Most sellers transfer the money the second it gets in the account, esp if they also buy. I never leave more than a few bucks in my account (to pay any store relists).

It takes about 4 days for the payment to go through to you, when she initiates it.

And do not do anything until then (don't close any dispute).

I think that you also need to report this seller to ebay AND to PP... basically you were not only defrauded AND the seller used ebay for a NON-ebay transaction.... BUT, you were also somewhat "blackmailed" with the sellers statement that she'd send the bag if you cancelled the PP transaction. And then she STILL does not promply refund. OMG! Absolutely NOT to be trusted IMO.

Hopefully you will get your money real soon.
This is one of those times, it would have been nice if pay pal had put a hold on the seller's account, then you would have got your money back instantly.
Do let us know the outcome....A 1000 posts you say, not a newbie then....very sad :(

Hi Everyone,
My refund is complete. I have moved on and pulled the trigger on another purchase, this time straight through ebay. The seller has been wonderful and the bag should be here before 3 pm tomorrow. Hopefully this one will turn out to be my happy ending. Thanks for all your support.

What does it matter if she is big time? She did something really

unethical.. keeping your money and not sending you the bag

What does she think she is going to get away with??
