OP, I'm glad your claim was re-opened. Good luck and I hope everything gets worked out.

Just remember, just because someone says they are a PFer, even a member with a lot of posts, still exercise caution and beware of doing transactions off eBay.

Back about 8 months ago, an established PF member scammed 8-9 other PFers out of $1000s of dollars on eBay. Search this ebay forum for a thread like "my Balenciaga turned out to be a pair of Vans." It was quite a horrible situation.

Unfortunately, Redney, in her infinite wisdom, is SOOOO correct. PF membership really should not provide any feelings of security to a buyer. A buyer should research ANYONE they buy from... on google, toolhaus.org AND here on PF... prior to making any decision to buy from this person.
It's a damn shame, but reality. I hope PP can help you.

I also hope that this is NOT a repeat offender!!

If the seller tried to cheat you, I don't see any problem with mentioning her name here. It might be best to wait until after Paypal refunds your money, but if she's done it to you she's probably done it to other members too, or she will be in the future. You have no obligation whatsoever to be nice to someone who's tried to cheat you.

Just because someone's a tPF member doesn't mean they aren't a crook.

You may post the eBay name, not tPF name.

Of course she has all positives on Ebay, that's all you can leave for sellers. did you check her toolhaus numbers?

You can leave negatives for sellers, not buyers.

That is why you are not supposed to do transactions outside of ebay... I hope it all works out, but don't do that again...

To the OP: please post the Ebay ID. Swanky has said that you can post the Ebay ID, but not the PF ID. Please share that info with us, so that we can all be careful with this Ebay seller. Thank you!
