Default "0" Feedback buyer ?

Thanks all for any advice. I had an auction running that clearly stated that "no zero feedback or negative feedback bidder could bid without contacting me".

So last night a "0" feedback bidder did a BIN on my auction. The bidder also has not paid. The bidders addy is in Sweden and has a c/o address in NY. I had also listed that I would only ship to US Confirmed addresses.

What to you eBay experts think?

Thanks, Kara

First of all, I would change your eBay and Paypal settings to automatically reject international buyers and those with an unconfirmed address. Unfortunately, you can't block zero FB bidders (but you can block those with -1 or lower). If the zero FB buyer had a confirmed address, I would ask the person to send me a message through eBay, and save a copy of it. If the person has an unconfirmed addy, contact eBay, as that is a violation of your terms of sale. I would not ship to an unconfirmed addy.

Thanks! I do have my setting to reject the -1 fb and the international bidders that is why(I think) they set it up to be sent in C/O to a NY address. Again the Confirmed address is the question.

Thanks!

You need to also set your Paypal settings to reject unconfirmed addresses. Then the buyer will not be able to change the address.

Thanks, you too, Kara! It is a shame we have to set our settings to the most stringent possible because people don't take the time to read the auction terms.
