The strap on my beloved Granville broke a couple of days ago - luckily we were in a mall in a place where it was too dirty (it could have been outside on the pavement - yikes!) so the bag didn't get any serious damage.
So I'll have to call the Dior boutique in London where I got it and make arrangements for a repair. There is nothing broken as such, just two metal parts that came apart (on the clasps there is a metal stick going through a hole in another metal part attached to the strap - one of those sticks fell out ...). I hope they're able to fix it quickly so I can carry my beautiful bag again!

I hope they just send you a replacement strap so that you dont have to have all the sending back malarky to go through..keep us posted, hun

The strap on my gaucho broke after only having it for 2 weeks. I took it to Dior, and they ordered me a new one! It was there in less than 2 weeks! Depending on the SA, I think they will give you a replacement.

I hope they'll give me a replacement too - my problems are that I'm in Denmark where there is no Dior boutiques, so I'll have to contact the boutique in London where I got it, and that it is the light grey Granville that seems to be sold out all over Europe ...
I'll give them a call today - tried once yesterday, but I think it was too late (after opening hours). I'll let you know what happens

I have to send the strap to Dior, London and they will take it in for repair - have no idea how long it will take, but the guy at Dior CS told me he would give me a call/mail as soon as he received it to let me know it had arrived. Hopefully it will go quickly with the repair
