We've never felt comfortable getting authentications on TPF "Authenticate This" page, because you guys do this for free- and we're "for profit". We pay for authenticators- so it's more frustrating when something like this happens. We had CarolDiva authenticate this- so we're trying to get to the bottom of it.

Yes that's the disturbing part, especially seeing that CarolDiva was the authenticator.

I dont think she has much experience with Dior though, maybe she is getting a bit ahead of herself

Thanks, eminere™... unfortunately, the authentication's cheap. The loss of reputation? Priceless! :(

I will say that Carol has done a great job for us in the past- and I have noticed that she's even recommended for authentication by some of the lead authenticators here on the Dior board.

There must have been some confusion on this one... When I checked out the inside tag- stitching, embossing and shape, even I could tell it had major problems (and I'm no Dior expert). I'm thinking that there must have been a mis-understanding on her part.

It's obviously upsetting, but thank you all for the "head's up".

Shes having the same problems with some of her Chloe's before. I am not sure what to think I have never used her before but paypal accept her and the ladies on the other forums have good reviews about her.

BTW Emi have you looked into the Leather Tag situation for me? Have you found out any more? I posted some new Ethnic tags up! which show a different kinda leather.

thank you for your PM fashionphille, caroldiva is one of the few authenticators that paypal recognises that is why I recommend her, she has given members great services before but I guess she is human after all and we all make mistakes.

she is recommended as she is one of few authenticators that is approved by paypal and mroe reliable time wise than mypoupette, but we didnt have a chance to check on her Dior skills
