What an interesting job that would have been, thankfully the people I am dealing with are english speaking but I have learnt that next collection I will be starting damn early

i remember one season when we got yarn from Ireland, buttons from Phillipines, some other accessories from France .. it was mental trying to get everything planned..plus the main buyers wanted individual changes in the collections just for them so depending on which country the merchandise was done for we had to take their wishes into consideration...mayhem LOL ! also once the samples for one season were finished, the designer started designing for the next one...so dont expect a big break hun

It sounds like a nightmare, I have so much to learn!

I have got some more designs down on paper for the next collection so as soon as these samples are sorted I will start production on the next ones.

Once the bags are out of the way then comes the marketing/selling, working out industry standard payment terms etc etc - it's never ending

I will do that, would like some opinions before their release.

The company I work with are planning a "buyers party" in New York for next season and have suggested fashion week over there also.

Hopefully they do reasonably well, I just hope that they turn out to be of the quality that I am aiming for and not cheap looking.

Time will tell

good marketing angle though, it costs bugger all to produce unless you go exotic skin so it's a minimal outlay for the exposure

I've seen the plain denim as attached but not with a pocket, maybe one I haven't come across before

The one in your pic looks too straight across the top to me, maybe the angle and I can't look sideways .

The interior tag pic looked good, I had just never seen the pocket saddle before and it looked like it was too straight across the top in the first pic you posted but with the extra pics it may well be one that doesn't pop up too often.

Went quite cheap.
