Hi, all. Is there any resource for finding out how many were made in a "limited edition" run of a certain bag, for curiosity's sake? This bag has a plate number of 46.

With an art print, for example, it'll say 46/1000, so you know how many were made, and know that the earlier ones are more valuable. Just wondering if there's something similar for Dior handbags!

i don't usually follow dior, but that is gorgeous!

i'm sure there is a way to find out how many were produced. have you contacted dior?

one thing, in the photos you posted, it says 0046 on the plate, but 0056 on the leather stamp. does that mean anything?

lol the OO56 means this bag was made in 2006 . i never seen this bag before but this is surch a beauty !!! congratulation on your dior saddle . its stunning .

that's the same year I got my regular denim saddle and still love mine...the one you have is gorgeous!!

well the plate have 4 numbers so if the number on teh limited edition is really fallowing how many were made . the maximum out there could be 9999 of this one .sadly i never heard how many exactly were made for the limited edition of any dior bags . we only know its more limited and harder to find than the regular one ...

I think the max is usually 1000, but dont quote me on that

that would be a good question to ask to a dior store .i wonder if they would tell or even know though

next time i go shopping i will ask .

Emi works for Dior and if he doesnt know, then nobody in the store will, I think
