Default Dior Gaucho

Hi Everybody,
I have a question. What is the difference between the gaucho and the gaucho saddle bag? I never owned a Dior before but I see these descriptions when I look online for the Gaucho. Are they the same bag? Sometimes I see just Dior Saddle bag. Are the saddle bag and gaucho different? I am sorry for all the stupid questions. I am just wondering. I was looking at getting a Gaucho. Someone told me the bags are hard to carry and don't fit alot of stuff.

I've described my Gaucho bags as double saddle and medium saddle bags BUT there are also some of the regular saddle bags with the Gaucho styling. I never realized how confusing this wording was until you asked, but you're absolutely right- for someone new to Dior this seems so contradictory.

The gauchos come in all different sizes, the tote carries alot and there is an even bigger sized tote that sounds almost like an overnight bag.

Ok, here are some pics of my Gauchos:

*The blue one is the Double Saddle Gaucho. It has 2 separate compartments (each closed by a zipper)+ a small one for a cell phone or something.

*The green denim one is the Medium Gaucho. It only has 1 main compartment + a small one. The bag is closed by the flap, not by a zipper.

*The Double Saddle is larger and more bulky than the Medium. But that doesn't bother me at all. I like the fact that it is closed, unlike the medium.

There are still some other types of Gauchos, like the tote for example (which has a zipper on top of the bag).

Now for the Saddle Bag: They are not the same as the Gaucho but I have also seen a Saddle Bag with Gaucho style (distressed leather, etc.). The last pic is one of a Dior Saddle Bag (not in the Gaucho style).

Hope this helps!
