1947 COIN
  • very detailed and intricate
  • see inner bow left edge, authentic has lines in it and fake does not
  • authentic has one continued design around the edge, fake has dots
AUTHENTICITY TIP: Coin has dots all around the edge - fake!

This bag is definitely authentic.

OH, thank you Nat & LaMissy!! Now I feel better, whew. I looked so closely before bidding and missed that one point, then second guessed myself.

One question, they list it as burgundy but looks kinda like whiskey. What do you ladies think? Could the pics just be too yellow? I don't know all the colors Dior used for the medium gauchos. Real curious what you think since you're the experts. Thanks again - I LOVE THIS SITE!!!!!!!!

authentic gaucho tote, thats why the handle is different. you will know year of the production once you check the code on the inside tag

the pics are a bit too yellow, this pic shows the real colour of red gaucho quite well.
