Both are fake. The lambskin links on both models give away their "fakeness". The links are shaped improperly in the first one (as in the curvey pattern they form on the flap is wrong), and are too "clean" and plastic-looking on the second one.

One more thing...you can tell the second one is a fake by just looking at the Christian Dior PARIS paper tag. It is attached to the purse with plastic wire. Real Dior bags (now some fakes get this detail right too) use string.

So I just bought a Dior Gaucho Saddlebag for cheap that looked real but now I'm not so sure. I've been looking around and it seems like this color doesn't even exist! It's not the white,brown,black,silver, or gold. it's like a worn olive green color. I think I'm gonna take it back, but what do u think?

Also check out the studs on the buckle. I'm pretty sure those are supposed to be hidden. :/

Unfortunately your Gaucho is fake. The Dior logo is a bit off; the two studs are exposed beneath the buckle; and Mr. Christian Dior's face is a bit too smooth for the coin to be real (the real one has indentations and grooves in his face). I'm not sure if this color exists, but from the other details your bag looks fake :-(. Good luck taking it back.

FAKE!!! Even though the pictures are crummy you can tell that the pink on the bag is a bit too dark. Also, the Dior logos on the pink ribbons are not in the same places as those on the real one. Finally, the fabric flowers look too big.

I can't tell for sure by looking at the bag, but I would be weary of any auction for an authentic bag that starts that low. Who really is going to let a $1000+ dollar bag go for $100?

Hi I have this posted in another forum and I think this one will get a quicker reponse...
I bought this bag on ebay on a 24hr auction and it went for about 250.. even though the seller insists it is authentic, I dont believe it is..and he wont let me return it..i may have to file a claim through paypal, but let me know what you think..

what gave it away the most is the backwards "Dior" textile lining..








Also..even if it is fake..would it be totally pathetic to keep it? the leather is great quality and the bag is beautiful! ..plus as an art student I could never afford the real deal anytime soon..thanks for your help!!!
