It's sad that all 4 of these Gauchos are fake. Even by CHANCE it's hard to get 1 real Gaucho in ever 4 that were picked off Ebay.

Even though this seller does not have pics of the inside of the bag, you can tell that it's authentic by looking at the Dior logos and the rasta colors (the logos actually look like this on the boston and messenger bags). However, I would not buy this because it's WAY too expensive...Eluxury recently had a sale for the Rasta Boston bag (looks like the girly boston but in the rasta style) for less than the price of this bag.

The calfskin links are not "dirty" as they should be since they should be finished with black wax. The interior leather flap that says Christian Dior PARIS MADE IN ITALY has the wrong font and stitching pattern...the lettering is also done poorly (it's hard to see) and the stitching is croaked.

Thanks MayDay! I checked through all the Dior listings and this is the only Gaucho I could find that looked remotely authentic... so sad that there are so many fakes, just like the MJ Stams... the real ones are very rare and few.

Hi aitienadog!

PLEASE do not pay for this item! This Dior Detective is fake, and people will know it's a fake if you carry this because the topstitch detail is done in the wrongshape (and color...should be more beige), and the shape of the bag + the handles is wrong. The seller has violated Ebay policy by selling a fake so you're really not obligated to buy this anymore. I know the seller offers a refund policy but that's too much of a hassle. You're better off not paying for it than to go through the trouble of wasting money shipping it back and hoping that the seller doesn't claim that you sent her/him and empty box.

THANKS MAYDAY! i saw the rasta bag on sale @ eluxury, but it was quickly snapped up. sighhhh. what a waste!!!
