Sorry but this Gaucho is fake. The lambskin links look orange and plasticky. The dustbag has a very inaccurate logo. The interior leather flap with the Dior logo is completely inaccurate. The leather also looks inaccurate; washed leather shouldn't look scruffed all over and plastic-like. |

Can someone please help me with this one. The inside tag reads Christian Dior Paris Made in Italy and a serial #RU0010. I know that if by chance it is real it is old because I have had it for a while now.

Sorry to disappoint you, but the bag that you have is fake. The logo fabric looks croaked, and the interior leather tag that says Christian Dior PARIS is completely inaccurate even though this bag is an older model; the logo does not look anything like the real Christian Dior PARIS logo. Also, the cannage interior lining looks like it has the wrong texture (there is too much sheen on it). |

This Gaucho bag is fake. The lambskin links are not even antiqued with black wax (they also look very orange and plasticky); the interior leather tag with the Christian Dior logo is completely inaccurate; the Dior logo on the dustbag is too dark; and the authenticity card is just wrong for the Gaucho. |

This one is also fake. The Dior logo on the front buckle is inaccurate, as is Dior's face. The lambskin links are also too orange and plasticky; Dior's face is too smooth on the coin; the interior leather tag that has the Christian Dior logo is inaccurate; the authenticity card is wrong for the Gaucho; and the texture of the leather is too grained (it should look waxy and smooth)...the white is also too white. Anytime you notice a seller selling the same bag over and over again you can almost be sure it's a fake (there are SOME exceptions but for a bag like the Gaucho with waiting lists? No way). |

I like this bag, but still a bit hesitant since I can't "read" Gaucho
when you can live forever, what do you live for?
