On some fakes you can see these studs too well...watch carefully: FAKE: (see the studs right below the arch of the buckle?) AUTHENTIC: I really hope this helps! Remember, quite a few fakes get the studs correct...but they have a lot of other details (or lack of) that give them away! Watch out for the authenticity card (should not have plastic wrap on it and/or should not have gold lettering), the Christian Dior paper tag (it should be attached with white string instead of plastic or black string), the lambskin links (they need to look a bit dirty on the spring Gauchos, and not plasticky nor orange nor light beige), the Dior logo (if the "D" looks like it doesn't belong with the "ior" - i.e. the spacing is a bit off - you're looking at a fake), the texture of the leather (you can see in some lightings...washed leather gauchos should not have a bumpy grained surface), the color (especially for the white Gaucho...it's "off-white"...like ivory...not bleached white like some fakes), and Dior's face on the coin (his face is NOT smooth...look for clearly visible lines in his face...if his cheeks are smooth the bag is fake). Can anyone help on this Gaucho- I looked for all the things that MayDay suggested on one of the previous posts.
On pic #8 you can see the 2 studs beneath the buckle that says Dior, but isn't that because of the angle of the camera?
Also are the lines on the cheeks of Dior supposed to look like they do on pic #8. Input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all

I think it's fake because the authenticity card (I can actually see from this picture that it is the card ) is wrong. And also, it just doesn't look right to me, though I can't say exactly why.

This seller sells FAKES! I watched him sell a fake crocodile Dior Detective bag which ended at $1560 (anything past $1000 and the FBI can be involved...too bad the buyer thought it was real). This seller is remorseless and keeps selling fakes...I hope he gets caught soon!

THIS Dior Gaucho is fake for many reasons. It's modelled after the mini Gaucho which is only 8-inches long (this one is 13 inches and should NOT look like this). The interior leather flap with the Christian Dior logo is off (the logo is not like the original Christian Dior logo). The calfskin links aren't even vintaged with black wax (it doesn't even look like calfskin). Dior's face doesn't have enough lines, and if you notice the belt that runs from the front to the top of the back of the bag (on the flap), the belt is not straight on the back...it's angled (It should be straight).

There should only be washed leather and Dior logo jacquard in the wallet (and also maybe a transparent plastic to show a card depending on which wallet you own), nothing else. I'm sorry but you have a fake Gaucho wallet

i mean its yellow/gold under the leather where are is room for credit cards?

Yeah...the only two fabrics should be washed leather and Dior logo jacquard (and maybe also clear plastic).

But don't give up Ebay just yet! We'll be here to try our best to authenticate any bag you want to buy!!! There are some authentic bags on Ebay for AMAZING prices and you don't want to miss out on those!

Both are fake. The one you have is fake because it looks too white, the two studs below the Dior logo are far too exposed, the Dior logo looks wrong, and the lambskin links look plasticky and non-vintaged.

The metallic one you posted is fake because many of the details are inaccurate..the inside logo lining...the lambskin links...the logo on the dustbag...plastic wrap around the handles (Dior would not wrap the handles all in plastic)...Dior's face is too smooth...the authenticity card looks wrong (and is wrapped in plastic)...the Dior logo on the inside leather flap looks completely off...

Sorry to disappoint you. Please get your money back for the white one!!!!
