Hello, I recently won the auction for a patent leather LADY DIOR bag item #180180168344. I received it today and upon inspection I am worried it is not authentic. From reading different posts and Dior guides, the markings and features seem correct, however, the paperwork seems a little off. As you will see in the photos, the text printed on the envelope is off-centered and the text "Christian Dior" is printed crooked on the silver authenticity card. Also, the card is not the same one as posted in the photos for the auction listing (please refer to the first/gallery photo of the auction).

The zipper pull of the interior pocket has three C's in the shape of a pyramid. On the back of the interior leather Christian Dior tag the words "Made in Italy" are very faintly stamped (just an impression - no ink. I almost missed it).

Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated - thanks!

Correct, there is no serial number printed on the tag. Do you know when Dior began printing serial numbers on tags? I have a vintage Dior speedy/boston bag probably from the 70s that doesn't have the serial number. But then again, the tags were different back then. This Lady Dior is only supposed to be from 2002 or so.

looks good, but since i dont even trust myself anymore and the pics are awful quality i would ask for pics of the front of the interior tag and the close up of both sides of authenticity card just to be on the safe side.

I don't know too much about the Lady Dior collection, but the screws on the hardware are worrisome to me. I would say it's a huge flag there is no serial number though.

what do you mean about the inside zipper pull made of 3 C in a pyramid shape i dont see it anywhere in the piccies?

Lady Diors have these screws marks on the inside part of the hardware.

luv2shop i would definitely contact the seller regarding the authenticity card being different from the picture in the auction (he has two more Dior bags that look authentic so maybe he just sent the wrong one).

I have found another auction with what looks like authentic Lady Dior and no serial number on...

The place of Issue for the authentication card is from Plaza Senayan, it is a high class mall in Indonesia that does have a Dior boutique. Could it be printed differently because it is from asia?
