I bought a Dior double saddle bag via ebay. Auction stated slightly used, lost authenticity card while "moving" with no other proof of authenticity. Paid $335, but am not so sure its for real, if you know what I mean. Came from a 100% positive seller. I called the Dior Boutique she claimed to purchased it from and they pulled up her name from other previous purchases, but a black double saddle bag was not listed. Help me to know if I got a great deal or deboofed! The serial # on the tag is: 05-MA-1025

I am so sorry, but the pics are pretty bad and not very clear within the corresponding auction...it appears the bag may be fake. Please wait for the other experts (a.k.a. ladies and gents) to confirm. I am terribly sorry, I get so upset when I see a buyer such as yourself who was promised an authentic bag and has possibly purchased a replica/fake.

It's definitely fake, get in touch with the seller and try for a refund.

I didn't get any of the items you guys helped me with because the prices went riducously high (from $88 to $300) in the last 2 hours. But i have another bag I am really interested in. I tried using the guide, but I am still unsure. I really appreciate your help!

Hello Canido,

No problem, you are welcome to post here anytime (and I am sure the other ladies/gents feel the same way!).

Unfortunately, this one is fake. There are a number of factors, but one of the quick ways to spot a fake is the grey colored authenticity card that comes with the bag. The Gaucho bag should always come with the card that has just "Christian Dior" in black embossed upon it. If you look within pic number three of your posting, you will see this bag comes with the older authenticity card that is embossed with gold writing on the front (see example pics below). Keep looking...there is nothing like the real thing! Happy Holidays!

i dont see the tag at all the quality of the pic is too bad, but since it has the golden authenticity card ( no gaucho has them, this model is too new for them ), i say fake.
