They're not doing one yet but they will. It's good to have a SA to work with though. Mine already knows to contact me once it happens.

For the half yearly sale, will spring merchandise go on sale? I know for the anniversary sale, they put new fall stuff on sale, but I'm unclear on what type of stuff goes on sale for the half yearly sale.

There is a pair of shoes that are considered "new" on the Nordstrom's website right now, and I was wondering if there was any chance, an item like this might go on sale during the event

Does anyone know?

Sorry for the late response! Yes, we are doing pre-sales!! Just get in touch with an associate. However, we do not always know what will go on sale in advance. Some items yes but not all. Your best bet is though, to work with a sales associate (like myself or someone at Nordstrom you may know) in advance to they can pull and get the item(s) instead of going online and hoping its still there. Plus sometimes online is not always as accurate as what we have in house. And keep in mind the pictures online can be deceiving so an associate can always give you a better detail of what the item looks like.

Also as a quick reminder: 1/2 yearly sale---spring items and other items we are trying to get rid of in inventory. Anniversary: Fall items marked down but that will be marked back up after the sale.

When does pre-sale start for the designer shoes (aka the salon department)? Is it after half-yearly?

Anniversary sale is in July. There are always beauty deals and special buys for nearly all the brands. It is fall stuff that is being sold in advance.

The half yearly sale are mark-downs on past season and does not include beauty for the most part.
