I think TPF should create an account on all the sites to invite TPF members and gain the kick backs. Once it's built up to a certain amount TPF can purchase a purse or whatever with the credits and it can be part of the monthly giveaways. =)

You can Google invites and there are people that will send you one if you leave them your e-mail address!

Just google which site you are wanting to join along w/ the word invite. Quite a few should come up and you can also write their cs department and get membership that way.

I just joined up here to TPF and noticed this thread. I receive emails from New York Magazine's fashion blog which is called "The Cut" and they recently posted an article that listed several of the fashion "invitation only" sites along with the needed passwords to join. This information was provided for free to anyone who reads their blogs. The link to this specific article is: http://nymag.com/daily/fashion/2008/...lert--20080819
I apologize if this post is inappropriate as I am not too sure of the rules here yet,so please feel free to delete if this is the case. |

I apologize for asking for a referral. I didn't realize it was a scam site. I read about it in NY magazine and I thought it was just a members only site to cut down on traffic. I knew if anyplace had members it would be here! Oops!! Apologies again!

Oooops. I didn't see this until after I had signed one of ours up. I had forgotten about the "kickback," since I don't pay attention to those things. Won't do it again.
BTW, you don't get a kickback for signing someone up. You do get a $10 store credit for that persons first purchase. At these prices, that's not much of a kick. Otherwise, Ruelala is a cool site, with serious discounts. I wonder if non-members of Ruelala can just sign up without a referral. I did. |
