Any regular-priced item codes? The purse I want is an extra $400 for ordering to ship to US versus a Europe order. I know international shipping is expensive, but a $400 difference for the exact same purse is practically criminal.

No regular-priced codes that I know of...

it's just the VAT... That's pretty standard for a lot of european products

VAT it may be, however, I've purchased european products from a number of overseas retailers (StyleDrops, Run In2, Liska; the first that come to mind), and have never been charged 30-40% VAT tax ontop of the european retail price..

Beyond the Rack has the purse today (Fendi Perforated Chameleon - perfect for summer casual/jeans) for $1199, no tax and $9.95 shipping. I ordered it from them, yay! Bluefly has it too for $1480. Sorry Luisa Viaroma...

I found one once that got me a strange book and cd with what I guess is Italian style rave music and blobby liquid things moving about ... and I think there might have been a slight discount.

But my question is -- when do you think the next round of mark downs are? I have my eye on some things that have multiple items in my size -- but I know once the next discount hits things go really fast ....
