Was looking forward to this but, from the pictures on Racked, I'll pass.

I went and the reports on racked are true. Leftovers from last year's sale, some leftover's from the past f/w and s/s but only at 50% off. Why would you pay 50% off a Miu Miu bag that you could have scored at Saks last December for 70% off?

That said, you had to look carefully. I went in search of mosaic print skirts from the s/s Miu Miu collection and found 2 - one a full-on mosaic and the other a Greco-Roman print.

Also, I finally got the black/gold belt I'd been coveting and it was $75.

I have a feeling I've been following you around town these last few days...or years...I went too, agree completely, tho I managed to find 2 pairs of flats, one jeweled and one sequined but they were the only two like them and I have huge feet which is why they were prolly left over...it might be worth a check at the very end when the prices are reduced even more but for the most part the clothing was either dull, weird, or not a lot cheaper than when it was on sale at prada. And the girls scrambling for the bags were saying the same ones were available on BlueFly w/o the chaos

OT: Restricter, I stopped at DY yet again to check on their reduction progress...so, where are we off to next

Quick -- off to the sales listings! And OMG - I also went back to Yurman. Did you see the petite albion necklaces at 60% off?

Want to do a return trip to Prada with me on Thursday?

As an alternative to standing on line in the freezing cold, I called the Prada outlet in Woodbury Commons and they said they just got a shipment of nylon bags yesterday, all 40 percent off. No messenger bags, though, which is what I'm looking for.

Were there any cosmetic cases at the Sample Sale?

I'm a 40+ depending on the shoe, usually a 41 in Miu...I don't recall seeing a lot of 42s, though there were 41's

mercutio11, the men's selection looked decent, there were a lot of men's shoes.

restricter, i'm keeping a close eye on my work schedule and I can somehow get out of meetings (hmmm, I had "physical therapy" and "dentist" appts when it was the Saks presale, a "nanny situation" when hermes was in town...what can i come up with next...) I will for sure let you know so we can co-enable!

There were cosmetic bags, but only in yellow nylon color. Woodbury had a better selection of cosmetic bags when I was last there.

Not only without the chaos, but also probably without the damage I saw some of the bags sporting -- pen marks on the leather exterior, a silver marker stain on an inside logo tag, even broken hardware. When we pointed one instance of a broken clasp out to the sales team on the floor, we were told that they would not repair it, nor would any further discount be offered. I'm sure there were lots of bags without damage, but prices were way too high to justify the purchase of those pieces in less-than-perfect condition.
