I got the catalog last week. I really wasn't planning to spend but got a surprise from Nordstrom today. They sent me a replacement for all the Nordstrom notes I never redeemed. I misplace them and get them replaced A LOT, and I guess I didn't use them all...they sent me one for a few hundred dollars! I usually save them up and splurge (that's how I got the Gucci's from the sale). I'm so glad they sent me a replacement even though I miscalculated/forgot about them. I love Nordstrom!

I'm Level 1 this year, but my friend that is a Level 2 made the appointment for us. I don't think they really care. Last year, I was a Level 2, so I made the appointment, and they never asked about my Level status. It doesn't hurt to call and try to set up an appointment. I doubt they would turn you down.

I checked out 3 of the clothing depts and honestly I was really disappointed - I usually spend a ton on this sale and I presold almost nothing - the clothing selection was awful IMO - it looks like they tried to throw as much "inexpensive" merch at us as they could -- I would have rather had fewer nicer things honestly. I presold a cardi, a M. Kors top, the Burberry wrap and a couple pieces of jewelry for DD - my cc is thrilled

What color is the Burberry wrap and how much will it be on sale?

There were 3 colors - one was a deep purple plaid, there was a more of a cream colored one with I think a pale aqua in the plaid and then a more classic Burburry color combo with the tan/black and maybe red? Sorry, I don't buy a ton of Burberry -- it was 100% Merino and Burberry wool is the softest wool ever - it's like cashmere -- I'm very allergic to wool, but can actually wear Burberry's merino shawls. It was $198 I believe.

I work for Nordstrom and have seen all of the bags on presale. The Burberrys are very cute! I was considering one, but they are quite small. You won't find it on Burberry.com as it is a Nordstrom exclusive.

I looked and didn't see anything like it - it's a really cute tote, but has a little more detail than the basic nova check totes on Burberry.com or on Nordstrom's website.

Thanks for the reply! I stopped by tonight, and asked to see the preselection for shoes and handbags. I was really disappointed, which is a good thing for my bank account! The Burberry totes are ok. It's a rectangular nova check tote that would be a nice size for work, assuming you don't carry a laptop and lots of files. The handles extend into trim that goes all the way to the bottom of the bag. There is a little trim coming around from the side that is perpendicular to the handles so it makes it look like there are side pockets, but it's an optical illusion. Sorry it's so hard to explain.

The handbags that are on sale come in variety of different colors. I think Kate Spade bags came in blue, orange-red, fushia, black, and green. The MBMJ bags came in dark tan, fushia, black, mouse, and that's all I remember right now.

Yes, definitely enough drop to wear over the shoulder. It should even be fine with a winter coat.
