gatsby - thanks for the link! i have to agree the offerings aren't quite as good as past years. lots of good deals on spanx, but i'm disappointed there are not le mystere bras listed. perhaps they were simply left out of the catalog like the burberry shoes (which i'm anxious to see)? i like the TB flats, but i'm not sure if it's enough to buy them. i have plenty of black flats and the gold don't pack a huge punch for me.

I was only shown a few things in one area yesterday and there were a few Burberry coats but they're not in the catalog. There was a puffer down coat in white or taupe, a A-line raincoat in black or beige and I think one other style but I don't remember wha tit looked like.

I wasn't going to get much, but I spent about $550. I didn't think it all added up to that. I did get one pair of shoes that wasn't included in the sale, and $150 of that was stuff for my husband, so that doesn't really count, right?

I didn't really like any of the bags in person. There didn't seem to be as many shoes as last year. If I wasn't pregnant, I would have been in big trouble. There were some really cute dresses in there.

The only thing I knew I had to get was the Lippmann Anniversary Collection, and at the biggest store in Dallas, I got one of the last two today. I don't think they had everything out, but some of the stuff wasn't marked right. It made it difficult because I had seen things in the online catalog, and then I couldn't find them in the regular catalog, because the online version has more stuff. I think I ended up getting the wrong tights, but I'll just exchange them, I guess. Or at least they didn't look the same online as they did in person.

I wasn't really impressed with the BB bags, but I'm not a big fan normally. These just looked really plain.

It's funny I thought they did have le mystere bras but you're right! I like the Chantelle but need to see them. ITA on the black TBs; what caught my eye were the beige/gold ones that are suede w/caps. I'm feeling for suede this Fall, like grey suede loafers and ballet flats. In years past, I used the Nordstrom Anniversary as sort of a marker for what will be stylish for Fall. I didn't see that here, everything is basic, which is fine.

It adds up fast doesn't it?! I need to see the beauty items too, several of them looked more interesting in the catalogue than online prior. I don't know why that is.

No worries, they're on the back cover. They are the Romy style with captoes. Black are matte leather and beige/gold are suede w/leather.

They are $149. on sale, will be $235. after.

they're on the back "cover" of the catalog. they're the romy.

ShopBop has them for $250-something in beige leather with a coral or green cap toe. they'll be $149 at Nordstrom's.

There was mention of Burberry flats but no pics in catalogue. Like others have said, lots will be added the night of the sale. I remember last year, all of us waiting until midnight for everything to be loaded. It was fun!

I went to the Michigan Ave store today and was very underwhelmed. This is usually a sale I look forward to each year, but it seemed like the choices were not as good and sparse to begin with. I presaled the black captoe TBs and a tunic from BP of all places. Bag choices were not that great. The Burberry tote was cute, but the handles just did not want to stay on the shoulders!
