I went this weekend...I was in a rush and only quickly scanned the shoes and breezed past the shoes.

My awesome NMLC purchase was a silk Valentino tank - originally $850 and I got it for $22...there was a bit of a tussle with it though as it was marked from the initial Last Call price of $237 down to $69 and the cashier refused to ring it up as $69, 35% off then 50% off saying that was incorrect...I then asked her "but isn't it 35% off then 50% off the lowest price?" and she was like "yes." and I said "...then why wouldn't it be off the $69?" and she said in a very bossy/snooty tone "I don't know...someone must have written it there. But I know it's not off of that."

duh...someone who WORKED there wrote it because it's marked down...there was tons of merch written down in red pen.

Anywho, the girl refused to sell it to me off of the $69 price (which made no sense because the very most I should be paying is $69)...eventually I took it to another cashier who was confused by the red writing as well and doubted it would be off the $69...but she offered to call her supervisor to doublecheck. Superviser then confirmed it was $69, then 35% off and additional 50% off.

Bottom line: Don't be afraid to take your merch to a cashier who's willing to call their supervisor to doublecheck. The first one wanted to charge me over $100 for it (and was rude to boot!). Also - NMLC should inform their employees when they've written stuff down in red pen...I find it very surprising that two cashiers were confused by the red pen.

It ends tongiht when they close at 9:00.
