Out of curiousity, I just put some items in my "shopping bag" online and the used the discount code. There seems to be some formula for deducting the $100 - different amounts for each item. So I'm glad to see the discount increases as you go above $400.
Someone stop me from hitting the "checkout" button now!

Oh man, this sale is worse than I expected.. No Gucci, No Prada, Not even Burberry or Armani...
I guess I will wait until Private Night and pray there are some better sales coming up.

I am confuse on the $100off for $400? is it $100 off every $400? so do you think it means that you would also get $200 off $800? and what is the gift card event in the store? thanks

when is the tiered gc event taking place? is this really better than the Saks deal?

The tiered GC event is starting today. It could be better, for me for example, I'm buying the jumbo flap so it's $2625. I get a $375 gc from NM and 6 mos no interest.

For Saks you get 3x your points, so you have to figure out the math based on your current Saks status. Also Saks is offering 1 year free interest, so that could be enough to sway your purchase to Saks.

Hi nycgirl- howcome when i called nm in sf the sa said that they are not doing the 6 months no payment/ interest?

village, yes it does have restrictions on when you can spend. The gift cards usually come with expiration dates that are within two months of receiving. So, you do have to turn around and use them pretty quickly. As far as what to spend on, no, I don't think so.
