Just got back from the sample sale.
I was a little disappointed...
Cause the hoodies and non-leather jackets were not as cheap as I expected. my friend bought a very soft leather bag for 450 and I only got a dress for 82. Lots lots of people, and very chaotic.
Most of the stuff are 100+.
Bring cash if you are planning to go there, no tax and additional 5% off.

I went this morning and it was really, really bad. I seriously left after about 5 minutes of being squeezed and pushed around in a tiny room. There were very few hoodies (which was what I was looking for), and everything was $100+. I was disappointed because prices went up considerably from the last sample sale (which was already expensive compared to the previous ones!). Personally, I will never go to another Mike and Chris sample sale again.

$600 for the leather jackets?! that's absurd. they were $500 at the 2 previous sample sales and I already thought that was a bit unreasonable given the deals you can find online.

Yes,It's absolutely disappointing!!I drove 30 mins there at 3:30 pm and just stayed for 10 mins. Leather Jackets $600 & canvas jackets $130+ around & bags $400+ & fleece coat $100 around~You can 100% find better deal from some other websites. I'll go try this Saturday.

I went last year but won't go again. It was a total fire hazard. They let everyone in all at the same time so it was no use getting in line early. It was hot, crowed, and you had to wait about 40 mins to pay for the merchandise. Why is it that some people just turn into classless hoards at sample sales!!! People were shoving & cutting in line. By far the Mike & Chris sample sale was the worst.

Sorry you had such a terrible experience! This is exactly what I was worried about. Sounds like it's even worse this time around (which, btw, is really hard to imagine since I already thought last time was hell). I'm so glad I didn't waste my time driving out to LA...

bags this year were 450?? Previously, they were 250!
I'm glad I didn't decide to go this year because it seems like they're just calling it a "sample sale" when theyre really trying to squeeze as much money as possible out of their customers.
Canvas jackets for 130+?--even Robert Rodriguez sample sales sell their 100% cashmere sweaters/jackets for less than that...--at their spring sale 2007, they were around $60.
