Ok ladies and gents, it's been confirmed Saks's Triple Point event will be Nov 5-7, pre sale starts next week (at least w/my SA). Saks card holder can also open a Major Purchase Account on purchases 2k or more, for 6 month interest free, and the points still counts toward 2009. For those of you have a shipping address other than TX, my SA can ship mostly everything in Saks tax free-think Chanel Flaps, J12, Cartier, Chopard, La Mer

Let her know Marisa send you, her email is BRANDI_DEEMER@S5A.COM, and cell phone 210 630 0309.

Triple points is the only time I purchase watch or Cartier from Saks, since Chanel, Cartier, Chopard were always excluded from EGC events. Hope you find the info helpful. Have fun!

anytime! My SA said Saks got into soo many trouble by doing that crazy sale, she's not sure if Saks' dare to pull that off again w/vendors. But this promo is good for those things big ticket items that hardly gets discount IMO.

Just called my SA and confirmed:

MPA (major purchase account)-you can charge on the MPA as long as all day worth of purchase is above 2k. Including the Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Chopard etc.

Triple points apply to ALL designer purchases, except LV purchase have a max of double points.

the rules seems more straight forward than the previous promo lol. Will update if there's any news :)

Thank you, classic chic. It is great time to shop. Last year they had 1 year interest free on major purchases account, I took advantage of it.

How many points you earn depends on how much you have spent at Saks. Check the website for the spending levels. But the lowest is 2 points per dollar and 100 points = $1 gift card at end of year. So at the very least you get 6% cash back.

Quick update, Louis Vuitton purchase can't be placed on MPA, but the double points still count. My SA still could ship tax free out of TX :)

Hey everyone,

I posted this in the Chanel subforum but figured I would post here too. I just got off the phone with SaksFirst CS and the rep told me that the MPA is actually 1 year interest-free for the promotion this time around! Chanel is included in this promotion and the triple points event!
