it never hurts to start pre sale asap, most will hold the stock until official pre sale if it's not too far away.

NYC Saks is presale-ing like mad. For anyone who will be needing a formal gown this holiday season, they are fully stocked and most gowns are 40% off during this sale.

It's tax free if you buy from any state other than your own. I live in TX and I order from Chicago all the time. It is always tax free--only have to pay $15 for shipping. Also, if you buy from Saks online, use Bing for 5% cashback.

One question, how do you know what level you are? I logged in to my SaksFirst account and it says PLATINUM at the top, so does that mean I am a Platinum member? I purchased a bunch of stuff last year during the fire sale but haven't really purchased anything much since. Am I still a Platinum member? Just want to know if it is worth it buying with the triple points plus interest free or just buy thru a friend who has an awesome discount at NM but must pay cash up front. TIA

Can you presale items that aren't in stock at your local Saks? I see a bag online that I want but I haven't seen at my Saks ever. Also I'm not a Saks cards holder but for this sale, I could be. LOL!

called 3 stores, all said LV doesn't participate triple points, or double points, only event they will participate is straight double points event without any other promotion.

sure thing, she is my personal shopper w/everything Saks sells. Definitely email or text her if you are thinking about something, but Lv is only for double points and can't be placed on MPA though.

I pulled up the statements, and it will tell you how many points you get per dollar spend. Or determine your status based on the amount spend this year:
Premier, 1k-4999, 2pt/$1
Elite, 5k-9999, 4pt/$1

I know .com and store have different sock, but let say if store have the stock, but just not at your location, any good SA should be able to transfer/charge send for you

the promo should be the same across the nation, but almost every state/city have their own version of interpretation on the rules. Try Brandi if you want to get the double points, I know my local Saks is giving double points on LV for this event. good luck!

If you "pre-order" something online now, will you get the triple points? Or, since your card isn't charged until the item ships, does that mean you won't get the triple points??

I want a Stephen Webster ring, and two of the ones I had my eye on our pre-order online right now!

the purpose of pre sale is SA holds your item and charge it the first official day of event so you won't loose the goods. Your card will be charge 11-5, and get the triple point

^^Thanks, I'm not talking about pre-sale though. If you order from the website, they have "pre-order" for items now, but the item won't ship until, let's say, December.

So would you get triple points if you ordered it now?
Or not, since your card won't be charged until the item ships in December...?

If you presale now--atleast in stores--it will be confirmed for you and charged/shipped out on Thursday from what I was told
