Burberry Shimmer Bowling Bag or Shimmer Check Handbag - Sale anywhere?

They had a novacheck shimmer tote for around $279 at the Burberry store in Northbrook IL earlier this summer.

I got the shimmer one with the drawstring a few weeks ago from my mom. She got it from my dad as a birthday gift and didn't like it, so it became an early Christmas gift for me. I wasn't sure if I liked it until I carried it and got so many compliments on it, now I love it! Good luck on finding the one you want!

I bought this one for 599 two weeks ago on Burberry Palo Alto store. Maybe you can check out nearby Burberry stores?

I know the Shimmer collection is actually on sale right now at retail stores. Just a matter of finding a store that has it. SKU is always at the website.

My SA also told me that they did second markdowns about a few days ago on sales so they should be roughly 50% off at the regular stores (not outlet).

I got the tote last week but I literally had to call 28902318 stores to find it. It took me like 5 hours. They are on second markdown at the burberry stores but 99% of stores are completely sold out of them. Nordstrom told me they are sold out nationwide of all the bags in the dark nickel, and a lot of Neiman's don't sell burberry bags in stores, so good luck finding one!

Also, does anyone have the sku for the small or large size? One store said they could not find it for me if I did not have the sku (which I don't believe since I'm sure they have it in their books), and it's no longer on the website.

that's pretty unbelievable....I called the only two Saks in NJ after you posted this and they def don't have any left. One woman said they sold out of the Burberry bags two weeks ago and the Short Hills Mall also told me they are sold out.
I like the shimmer bags the material is SUPER light.
... what's more impressive than the price is that your DH went the day after Christmas to look for you ...now that is incredible!

Do you mean the style number? The style # on the tag of my bag is 31717403 and the bar code is 5045252256244. Hope it helps!

Man, now I wonder if I should have waited for one more week (second markdown) to purchase the bag. 199 sounds unbeatable!

did you check the burberry website? I bought one on sale 2-3 weeks ago online. Maybe call around the Burberry stores and see if they still have any...
