I actually got this bag about 2 weeks ago and just returned it, only because it was a bit too large for me. It's a VERY nice bag for the price.

you said the bag was too big for you... the dimensions on NM must be incorrect... it says the bag is 7 4/5"H x 12 1/10"W x 4 1/3"D.

if you check this post, can you pls advise? Thanks in advance.

Padparasha, it seemed like the bag was quite long across the top , but it may have been just my misperception. I normally don't carry big bags, i.e. I love Marc Jacobs but the Stam seems like a suitcase to me, LOL! The thing I did notice was that the bag fits nicely under your arm, the shoulder straps were the perfect length, but all my stuff would have filled only about 1/5 of the bag, so it seemed overly large to me. Hope that helps!

I have been drooling over the Maddie tote all day, and trying to figure out the correct dimensions (I believe 17.5 x 12 x 7).

Of course, now I go to buy it, and it's all sold out! Gah!
