Ladies,

I have to say that I was fairly disappointed when I was at Woodbury today. 1st they only let 20 ppl in at a time and they only have 20 min to shop before they kick you out (it doesn't even matter if ppl inside leave, you will not get in until their 20 min is up) I for one have been to many big and small sample sales, it had to be my worst one. 2nd the staff was quite rude when I complained about people cutting the line, very unhelpful. When I was checking out the handbags I took out the tissue paper to look at the inside, the cashier girl proceeded to tell me to "clean up after myself otherwise she will throw meout" Sorry to rant but they're paid to maintain the sample sale, which means CLEANING UP anyways. To make a long story short, I would never go back again I think you can get much better prices at dept stores in this economy. Just my 2cents.

just went today. Librax114 is correct. i had to wait about 20 min before i was let in. the line to get in wasn't too bad. i've waited in longer lines. there were about 10 ppl in front of me and 10 ppl behind me. the selection inside wasn't great. u really have to dig to find something decent. if you're going to check it out, u have to go in there with an open mind bc everything's jumbled up and mixed together with odd sizes/missing pieces here and there. i was lucky enough to find a black khaki blazer jacket and white polo. the sales ppl were a bit rude. they were not knowledgeable about the prices/stock. also, the prices were so so. the cashier told me that the sale this year was not great in terms of selection/inventory/prices. she made it a fact to tell me that the bags, jackets and polos were cheaper last year.

Hi Ladies, I just wanted to give a report of my experience at the Burberry Clearance Outlet

The clearance center is right next to the Tory Burch outlet. After reading everyone's posts on here, I was actually pleasantly surprised when I went to the store at around 6:00 PM today. They were letting everyone in the store, no waiting. There were around 20+ people in the store, browsing at their leisure. They apparently received a huge shipment of coats today, so it was my lucky day! They also had a lot of bags in the morning, but they were snatched up quite quickly (at least that's what the SA's said). There were quilted jackets and trenches, but it was just difficult sifting through the coats. It took a lot of patience for me to do this. But it paid off. I emerged with what I think is the Harbourne jacket, discounted by about 80% off the original price I've also attached a picture. All in all it was a great experience and totally worth some of the pushes and shoves that I received and the sense of chaos that was in the store.

Were there a lot of trenches in the smaller sizes? I am thinking of going there tomorrow but don't want to make the trip if you only saw a few trenches left. Thanks so much!

I went to the sale nearly three weeks ago. My mom and I each bought two pairs of earmuffs for $29/each. Great selection of colors both wool\cashmere. They also had scarfs, but nothing too traditional. I got a hand-knit sweater\shawl for $80 and my mom got a green, non-traditional 100% cashmere scarf for $99.

aww, thanks so much for the compliments!!! I really *love* the trench and am almost excited about rainy days now, hehe.

asark, the outlet is the Woodbury Commons one in NY. I've seen visitors from Canada at this mall, so people definitely drive to get there! It's worth the trip with all of the good stores that are at this outlet:)

luckygirl83, I'm not sure about smaller sizes, but I do know that they got a lot of trenches in yesterday. Mine is a size 2. There were a lot of trenches, and you just have to sift. Also, the size tag is usually in the pocket of the coat (and I didn't figure this out until like the latter half of my time in there).

Loveitall, I did see some scarves. I think that I even saw a magenta novacheck one. Good luck!

I just returned from Woodbury. I couldn't find anything at the Burberry sample sale. I did find a size 2 khaki colored trench (gorgeous, btw) but it had a cut down the back flap. Definitely not worth $300. Sigh... not my day. There were a few Ivybridge trenches at the Burberry Outlet for $799 but in the bigger sizes. I think I will have to go get my trench at the actual store on Fifth Avenue.

Default Woodbury Commons outlet
I went to both the Burberry Outlet store and the Sample Sale store last Tuesday. The Sample Sale wasn't crowded at all, and they still had some bags by late afternoon. Even with the discount, there wasn't anything in my price range. :( It was my first trip to Woodbury Commons and I was really impressed by all of the high end outlet stores there (I did snag some Uggs, a Coach bag and some household items from Williams Sonoma during my shopping trip!)
