Ok, Just got back today. I hav to say that the clothes were a total disappointment. I couldnt find anything in my size. They were all either Large, XLarge, or XXLarge. Most pants are in 36 and large. That is in Men's department. And I did go through almost EVERYTHING. I did go through women's department really quick though. There are lots of nice clothes there. I guess you just need to find the right ones. Shoes (men and women) arent that great either as they have lots of them in big sizes like 10+. There were no good handbags though. In sum of all, not a good experience. I could get wayyyyy better deals and more selections at cabazon outlet than at Barneys Warehouse.

i went today... this was a joke
there were only tote bags for obsene amounts of money, clothes that were a MESS, and no fitting rooms ie. old ladies walking around in bras and panties an ugly sight and many of the clothes cost the same price in actual barneys stores (that have fitting rooms and arent a zoo) all i bought was a trench coat (borrowed pic sorry) for $200, originally 615 http://ns1.revolveclothing.com/image...YT-WO19_V1.jpg waste of time... dont bother |

The two previous posts sum up my previous years experiences perfectly. Definitely not worth the mess!

I went to the LA sale today and it was pretty crappy.
First, the clothing selection is really small and most of the items looked picked over or plain dirty. Forget about the bags. There were only black Barneys Coop totes and satchels that look like bad replicas you'll get from downtown LA. Really crappy. Many of the bags have defects too. Lingerie: Two boxes of grimy looking undies that only a few hard-core shoppers were willing to look through. Gives me the shivers just to look at it. ![]() Shoes: Nothing fantastic. Almost nothing from CL but there were lots of Barneys Coop designs. And many many past season shoes. Some Pradas and Miu Mius BUT these are the same shoes that were stuck on the sale rack even at 60% off. I heard lots of shoppers grumbling. The selection was really bad. Many of the shoes also have defects such as the Miu Miu Tea Cup shoes with broken off ornaments. Very limited designs and styles. But tons of Barneys shoes in all sizes. I think a couple of buyers are going to get fired. Home selection: Some glassware, plates, and $1000 monopoly sets. I saw many people browsing but very few people buying. My DH was very disappointed with the men's selection. The suits were at least 2 or 3 seasons old and the shoe selection pathetic. Total waste of time.

What happened this time around??? Normally there are racks and racks dedicated to specific designers at reasonable prices.
There was alot of high end designer stuff but not much else. Shoes were fine. Did see a pair of Camo CL Pigalles in 36.5 but not much else in the shoe area. |

There were very few racks of clothing compared to last year's sale.
I counted around 10 pairs of CLs across different sizes. Unfortunately, at least 5 pairs were the same design (strappy satin sandals) with sequins in the same size. Camo CL Pigalles are gone, at least when I went! ![]() Having visited Barney repeatedly during their sale season, I think the sales are the remaining dregs of the sale. Most of the shoes were Barneys Coop and reasonable price wise but I was really hoping for better designers. |

It seems that it really got cleaned out over the weekend. I went Friday afternoon and there was a pretty good selection of clothing and shoes. I'm a size 10/11 and saw LOTS of Manolos, Prada, Marc Jacobs, and more. Almost got a pair or two of Manolos but didn't want to spend the money (one was ~$300 from ~$600 and another pair was gorgeous but was $650 from $1350(!)) Clothing was abundant but you really had to look. I walked away with a Marc by Marc Jacobs coat ($299 from $500), DVF top ($69 from $185), and a Rag & Bone jacket ($219 from $445). Prices weren't amazing, but you kind of have to look at it as a huge sale rack.

I'm wondering if you ladies went during the end of the day ? I'm certain they bring out new stock every day.
I've gone to the last 2 Barneys warehouse sales in NYC and have gotten amazing deals near the end of the sale including a comme des garcon dress for $30!!!! Maybe the LA sales are not as good? |

When paying at the register, I asked the cashiers if its true that they will bring out more stuff as the sale goes on. Idk if they tried to keep things in secret or it is true, but she said that was pretty much all for the sales this time. I actually spotted many same items on different websites, including Barnyes online store. The sale was not as great I expected. Hopefully, next time will be better.

xoxomuffy...great haul! the balenciaga and chloe heels are tdf! wish they had those when i went! i almost got the chloe flat sandals, but couldn't bring myself to fork over the money for them! i went yesterday and saw a bunch of manolos, lots of prada and miu miu, some CL, marc jacobs...not too bad of a selection, but nothing i couldn't walk away from. shoes were an additional 25% off. i scored some 3.1 philip lim trousers and a vena cava dress for an additional 40% off, and my friend picked up some miu miu satin heels (hot) and a d&g jacket. i thought it was worth going. with free parking and entrance...why not?

i went again today to see what was left....they had a decent amount of shoes left but the discount (additional 25%) wasn't THAT impressive considering that clothes was additional 40% off.
i didn't leave empty handed though.. i picked up a pair another pair of balenciaga heels, originally 795 for 236! overall, i would probably go back next year just for shoes. i just dont have the patience for the clothes. like gee said, free parking and entrance, no rsvp or waitlists makes it easily accessible. anyone else score any finds? |
