Just wanted to let those who haven't tried elf before know:

I have ordered from them before and not only does shipping take FOREVER, but also in my opinion the quality is terrible. I normally only use Chanel, Estee Lauder, and Lancome makeup though, so that is quality I want in my products.

But you get what you pay for and you can't really expect that much for $1.

I got false eyelashes from elf before, they were okay, but you definitely get what you pay for.

This brand is not a new deal. They used to be sold for $1 on buybeauty.com before that website went under and it is not until just recently that it started getting better publicity.

I would think the nail polishes are ok. How much worse can it be compared to Wet 'n Wild? I wouldn't expect a high level of quality from their makeup or cosmetic brushes though.

I bought from them during thier buy one get one half off deal. Everything was a dollar plus ur second item was 50 cents. So awesome deal..right? Nope!

The lip glosses sucks big time...you literally have to apply half the stick to get some color and shine out of it. The false eye lashes are flimsy and the glue sucks, they just glue ur eyes together (or maybe that's just becuz im clumsy), and the blush - omggg...i swear, half of it flakes away when you use it. And i bought some brushes, figuring that they couldnt be that bad. Boy was I wrong, the brushes are flimsy and you really cant get any powder/blush on them. I was gettting soooo mad.

And nail polish...dont buy! Chips like crazy. They literally fall off after a few days.

So yes i agree...u get what you pay for. No free lunches here.

OK well I must be the only one that likes some elf stuff. I love the foundation brush ( i use it for my mineral makeup) and really like the water proof liquid eyeliner. The nail polish is pretty good, just make sure you use a top coat on it though. The eye lash curler is ok too.

They have a few products that are pretty good. Check out Makeup Alley and sift through the reviews to find out what's worth ordering. I like their clear brow and lash gel.

I bought their professional set. Firty the eyelash curler is horrid. Within 3 use, the rubber from the curler cracked! Eyeshadow are not smooth if you get what i mean.

Then again, what you pay is what you get. :/
