Well, the majority of Asians only buy French made Louis Vuitton, and thats a fact from the company itself. Like I said, I used to be an LV employee.

i'm an asian and yes i do prefer LV made in france.

recently, my SA showed me a display piece hampstead pm which is made in spain. so, i thought all the hampstead pm in the store are made in spain and i was quite disappointed. but when my SA brought out the new piece hampstead pm for me to see and its made in france!!!

and, i bought it!

i feel comfortable buying LV made in france. i dont know why? ha!

It appears when items are first released, they are Made in France. As they become more popular they also get produced in the other countries (USA, Spain). This assures increased production of the popular styles and also decreases the transportation cost ,for example, to bring the item to the market where it is most likely to be quickly sold.

I usually request for one made in France. However, I would be more concern about checking each individual item for quality. When I purchased my mono pochette wallet, I requested one made in France and my SA said it's a slim chance, but voola.... got one and she was surprised cuz usually it's from Spain & USA she said. My makup pouch is Spain and both of these items are great.

My Mono Neverfull MM and PM which were both in USA. My Damier Neverfull GM was made in USA. My MOCA Neverfull MM was made in France.

I thought most LV accessories (wallets, etc.) tend to be made in Spain - not the purses.....
