Hi, all,

I am a newbie and this will be my first post. I am thinking to purchase one used black epi Alma - but the date code is M"1"0071. Seller insists the authenticity. Please advice.

It may be true. I just got my piano from eLUXURY, and the code is M51148. I have no idea what that means.

Okay-you are getting the date code and the model number confused. They are two different things.

M51148 is the model number or catalog number of your Monogram Cabas Piano.

The M1 is actually a MI meaning it was manufactured in France
0071 means July of 2001. It is a valid date code, however, you should post your potential purchase in the Authenticate Forum to have the other considering factors viewed by Lee, Addy or John.. they can determine if this item is in fact authentic.

my damier 1996 centenaire porte valeurs has a date code of MIO966...

is that june 96?
