Is is normal for date stamps in Sarah/pochette wallets to move around or are they all in the same location?

By chance, has the date code format changed for 2009? I purchased a speedy mono 35, with the date code SD1909, listed as new, I was a bit unsure since the date code indicates made in "1999," but the bag arrived in absolute new condition. Could it be an '09? Maybe a new format?

Sometimes LV changes the date code location, whether it is stamped directly into the lining or on a vachetta tab

There has only been one "unusual" date code format I have seen - I believe it was for the Mono Roses Speedy but don't quote me on that

SD1909 does mean October 1999 - where did you purchase the bag?

On Ebay, item#120410782280 (the link isn't copying). The seller says its new, as in purchased this year. I was doubtful, but the bag arrived in absolute new, never carried condition

, like it shipped from LV

. Needless to say, I'm very happy, and I guess time will tell if there's been a change in date code format for 2009.

Please post pics of the interior pocket stitching, zipper pull and rivet

It is entirely possible that this has been stored in optimal conditions - I haven't seen a date code change for 2009 yet except for the one item I mentioned

I just bought a new LV Judy MM in black at the LV store but forgot to ask where the Judy date code is located. I called them up and they said store policy was they never tell you where it is over the phone.

Could you please help me out? I looked at the pocket, behind the pocket, the interior and no date code :(
