Last night I purchased a song on itunes. I then tried to move it to my ipod and it just would not copy. After fighting with it for far too long to say, somehow I deleted my entire library from itunes and it wiped off my ipod. Great. I’ve had that pod for about 10 years and cannot even begin to get all those songs back.

I have been googling and googling and trying everything to get the songs back. When I go in to the itunes folder on my PC only 43 of my hundreds of songs are there. No idea why that is.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m thinking I am SOL and if that is the case I plan to buy a non-Apple player as I no longer want to use itunes, which I never really cared for anyway, and I guess start amassing my music library again. Not looking forward to that.

I also cannot understand why the song I just bought last night will not move to my ipod.

Check your trash can, see if it's there. That's incredibly strange.

Everything you purchased should be connected to your account.

I can see wiping your iPod clean accidentally but very odd for everything in iTunes to be gone.
