white looks more good in any cases than black :) believe me :)

Black is definately better than white IMO. I have another phone which is due for upgrade soon, will be getting the iPhone5 due in August-def in black!

I like the black! looks more sleek IMO. u also liked how it looked in cases better, not as plasticky.

As much as I personally love black on black, I actually ended up getting my iPhone 4s in white -- I love it! I seem to see more black iPhones than white ones though, personally, so that's another reason why I have mine in white.

Using an clear silicone case and I love it... I hope it does not look dirty after a while.

I have a black and white case for my white 4s. I love the white and don't find the contrast between the body and screen to be too much at all.
