I recently re-installed Firefox 3.5 because my previous one kept hanging up. However, I forgot to back up my userChrome.css file and now have forgotten how to tweak the bookmarks bit. I'm talking about altering the chrome file to remove "subscribe to this page," "bookmarks toolbar," etc. It was something like
menuitem[id="subscribeToPageMenuitem"], menuitem[command="Browser:BookmarkAllTabs"], menuseparator[id="organizeBookmarksSeparator"], menu[id="bookmarksToolbarFolderMenu"] + menuseparator { display: none !important; } but it's not working for me anymore. I edited the css file as usual from %appdata%, but for some reason it's not affecting Firefox. What am I doing wrong? (I'm running Windows Vista and all efforts to restore have been futile) Thanks experts!
