I am thinking of switching from verizon to either tmobile or sprint (dont ask me why because I honestly have no idea lol) When I was checking out prices online they both had free BB curves but there was an extra $25 month for some BB package, can you get them without it on sprint/tmobile?

Don't go with T-Mobile. Everyone I know dislikes the service, not only is the coverage not as good as other companies, but they overcharge as well.

i've always had t-mobile and the coverage is only good if you're near/in a big city/metro area. CS has always been good to us (we've been with them for 5+ years).

is the extra 25 for unlimited email/web browsing? i don't know what phone company she uses but my friend has the pearl and she only uses it for calls/texts (no internet/email) so she doesn't pay for the extra email/internet plan.

I dont live out in the sticks in NJ and judging by the coverage map where I live there is only one small spot in a senior development that doesnt get service. My friend had a BB with Tmobile, I should probably just call her lol.

Wow! How are you liking it? Is it worth it?
Go to your options icon then scroll down to STATUS your PIN is there :). BBM is simple... just add peoples pins and the rest is pretty self explained! Its just like any other im

I will buy my first Blackberry, but I can't decide between the Bold 9000 and the Curve 8900. Which one would you choose .

This is the same on all BBs - go to options - then status, then hover over your pin, hit the menu button and copy pin. Then you can (regular) text it to other ppl who have bbs and they can add you.

OR

Get other peoples pins by giving them the above instructions, and when you get their pin enter it into their contact information, then go to BBM and say "add a contact," type the person's name, chose their pin, and request them.

(*you don't have to add it to their contact info but if you do it will preserve it if you change blackberries*)

I got the TOUR - LOVING it. I'll try to upload the first pic I took from its 3.2 MP camera! Its the world and the curve wrapped into one.

AND - the best part is the overall speed is MUCH faster than the curve, my previous phone

I would probably go for the Bold, it's like an upgraded version of the Curve.

Bold is more bigger and manly to me. But it is 3G while the 8900 is not.

the phone would mysteriously lock up along with other kinks, but the one major issue i had was the screen. it's just not as fast as the iphone when it comes to emailing and texting. the letters are too close together.

imo, the smart phone is not ready to compete with the iphone. the storm has a long way to go before it can be a great touch screen phone. perhaps the second generation will be better.

i exchanged it today for the tour. as the guy at verizon said 'the tour is evolutionary not revolutionary like the storm.' he said this b/c i was hesitant getting another first generation phone. i was also told that the storm has a high return rate.

RIM currently retails three 3G Blackberry devices: the Storm, the Tour, and the Bold. More or in the pipelines, but those are their current 3G offerings.
