i have a storm now and there is far too many kinks on this phone...this is why i don't like to get first generation anything. i'm on my second storm now and am thinking about getting the touch before my 30 days runs out.

It has. I started having a lot of problems with mine, then they told me to do the upgrade and only one problem really persists now [which isn't even that bad]. All of the recent Storm buyers aren't having any problems since the newest update was placed on it.

BTW does anyone know where I can get the silicone covers on Ebay? I want to get it on Ebay and need a reputable seller since there cheaper than the $15 ones in store.

it's available with or without a camera, there's two separate models.

i have the 'new updated software' and there's still kinks. :(
this is my second storm and i still need to go back to verizon and either get a new storm or perhaps the touch.

i hear verizon is going to carry the iphone come december or january. has anyone else heard that?

I won't believe it until there's an official announcement from either Verizon or Apple. Those rumors have been flying for quite a while.

What problems are you having? Have you tried joining Crackberry and looking around/making a thread regarding your problems?

they announced it either last month or in may that Verizon would be carrying the Iphone. They were looking more towards January of 2010

No they didn't. Google "Verizon iPhone," it's allll just a bunch of speculation from the Silicon Valley rumor mill. There are also rumors that ATT's exclusivity agreement with Apple doesn't run out until at least 2012. We had a thread about the rumors a couple of weeks ago, not sure if it got moved over here when this section got created.

I'm not saying it won't happen, I'm just saying that there have been serious rumors about it for more than a year and I wouldn't plan any current phone purchases around it. Until there's a press release stating it definitively from Verizon or Apple, I'd assume that a Verizon iPhone isn't an imminent reality.

Have to admit, though, the LTE network launch in June 2010 would be a good time to do it.
