Default Does anyone have a desktop and a laptop?
Do you have a desktop and a laptop? Do you find you actually use both of them regularly?

I have both a desktop & laptop. I'm a college student though, so obviously I only have my laptop with me at school, but whenever I'm home, I'll use my desktop. I'll still use my laptop at home when I just want to chill in bed & watch a movie though. My sisters also have their own desktops & laptops, respectively.

I have a laptop I use as a desktop (plugged into a larger monitor and it stays home 95% of the time) and a netbook. I use them both equally, but have my iTunes library on the bigger one.

I have a desktop that I have a external drive attached to. I have my laptop and my hubby's laptop run a script to backup our files to the external drive. Then I use the desktop to run online back of the external drive. My laptop is more like a desktop since it is on a port replicator and I can't really move it because the battery sucks and the power adapter interface is broken.

I want a netbook for when I am just chillin watching tv or need to run to the office.

I have both and it depends on my mood. My room gets really hot (which is where my desktop is) so a lot of the time I'll go downstairs to the living room and use my moms desktop. I typically only use my laptop when I'm home when my mom is on her computer and I want to be on mine but don't feel like being in my room. It's also useful for when I spend nights at my boyfriends house, he'll be on the desktop and I'll be on my laptop, or I'll be on the laptop in bed when he's watching a TV show I have no interest in. I LOVE having both, because sometimes I just hate using the laptop, my hands get sick of feeling the touch pad if that makes any sense, and I really hate using a mouse on a laptop for some reason. My laptop is newer, and has better specs, but I'm not a big gamer or anything so it's not an issue for me as to which one I have to use for certain programs. Altho, my laptop is vista and I do prefer windows 2007, so I will pick the laptop over the desktop any day to do word/powerpoint.

I have a desktop and a laptop but I don't even use my desktop anymore. It's much easier having all files on one computer.

I currently have a desktop but I really want to pick up a cheapy laptop to use when i'm in my living room watching tv or something. it's annoying when i'm watching a show and then really want to go look up something online before i forget. plus my dvr is in my living room and some weeks i'm not home that much so the next week i'm constantly trying to get caught up with my shows so I can't get to my computer that much. I'd love to have something just for surfing or emailing that I can just tag along with me!

We have two desktops, 2 laptops, and a netbook. Surprisingly, the only one we don't use on a regular basis is one of the desktops. Everything else is well loved. lol.

We have 3 laptops, 2 desktops at home. DH will ONLY use a desktop, so he has 2 to himself. DD and I refuse, so we use the laptops. And except for needing a server for our wireless network, I'd never own another desktop.

I was super anti-laptop for the longest time. basically just because the one and only laptop I had was before the wonderful existence of wifi and wireless internet. or at least before it was affordable.

I used to but now I only use the laptop. I had planned in the past to get my son a desktop also until I realized he only really needs a laptop.

I have both.
I have a HP desktop and a MacBook laptop. I use the Mac probably 90% of the time.
