I am already looking forward to Barnes & Nobles new e-reader the Nook. It comes out November 30th, I believe. I like the fact that it has color on the bottom screen, and that you can scroll through the cover pictures.

Also, I really like that it has over 1 million titles to chose from, and, because I'm shallow, wicked cute covers by Kate Spade!

My husband asked when he was in Barnes and Noble last week and they told him that they wouldn't have a live demo until the official release date. I'm hoping that they will have a demo before that so I can decide if I want to order one or not.

I really want one and I dont even read that much. Maybe this will encourage me to read more. I have the kindle reader on my iPhone but its a little annoying.

I did some googling last night and found this short video of someone using the nook. The only thing that bothers me is that its a bit big. I think I can get over it though because there are the cutest cases being offered for it!

Hate to admit, but that is exactly the reason I'm leaning to the nook instead of the kindle!

I don't think it has text-to-speech. That actually doesn't bother me, since I hate being read to, and if I wanted to listen to a book, I'd buy an audiobook with a voice actor reading the book, as opposed to a machine voice.

Not gonna lie, I was on Kate Spade and saw the Nook cases and that is why I initially started looking at it.

OMG, I am so excited about it. My husband and I are both getting one for Christmas - Lame but we're buying each other one as our main gift:) I'd like to get the KAte Spade cover too, but for some reason it seems a little pricey to me for what it is and for being KS. I'm still thinking that one over. The Jonathan Adler cover is cute too!

We've been reading the reviews and comparing the Kindle, Nook and Sony Reader for the last couple weeks and definitely think we are going with the Nook. The Sony would actually be our second choice in which case I would get the pocket edition in Pink:)
